Fleet Management

LogHat allows registered users to maintain a persistent fleet of drone profiles, associated with each flight log uploaded to the platform. Fleet management enables you to track the health of individual aircraft over time and identify performance trends across multiple missions.

Adding a Drone to Your Fleet

Drones are added to your fleet during the log upload process. In the upload wizard, when asked to select a drone:

  1. Click Add New Drone if the aircraft you are logging is not already in your fleet.
  2. Enter the drone's name (for example: "Adarna V2", "Survey Quad 01").
  3. Select the frame type (multirotor, fixed-wing, VTOL, or other).
  4. Optionally enter additional specifications such as model, MTOW (maximum takeoff weight), and wingspan.
  5. Save the drone profile. It will be available for selection on all subsequent uploads.

On future uploads, select the existing drone from the dropdown to associate the new log with that aircraft's history.

After multiple flights from the same drone are logged and analyzed, the flight analysis view will show a Fleet Health Trend section alongside the standard health analysis. This section shows:

  • Health score over the last several flights for that drone
  • Trend direction: Improving, Stable, or Degrading
  • Any parameters that have changed significantly between flights

A degrading health trend — for example, increasing vibration scores over successive flights — can indicate a mechanical problem developing over time, such as a bearing beginning to fail or a motor becoming unbalanced. Identifying this trend early allows for preventive maintenance before an in-flight failure occurs.

Fleet History in Vector AI

The Vector AI chatbot has access to the fleet history when responding to diagnostic questions. If you ask "Is this normal for this drone?", Vector will compare the current flight's metrics against the same drone's recent flight history to provide a comparative answer.

Accessing Your Fleet List

From the Dashboard, the fleet panel shows all drones currently in your fleet with their most recent flight date and last recorded health score. Clicking a drone name filters your flight history to show only logs from that aircraft.
